Saddle Creek Logistics Plans Layoffs of 151 Employees at Bessemer Facility

Saddle Creek Logistics Services has announced plans to reduce its workforce at its Bessemer, Alabama, facility. A total of 151 employees will be affected by the layoffs, which are set to begin on April 30, according to information provided by the Alabama Department of Labor.

Located off McCalla Road, the Bessemer facility is one of 46 warehouse locations operated by Saddle Creek Logistics Services across the country. The company currently employs more than 6,000 associates nationwide. In addition to the Bessemer location, Saddle Creek also operates another facility in Ensley.
